Women Heroes of World War I: 16 Remarkable Resisters, Soldiers, Spies, and Medics by Kathryn Atwood
As the country honors the 100th Anniversary of the United States joining World War I, join our monthly non-fiction book club in a discussion about Kathryn Atwood’s “Women Heroes of World War I: 16 Remarkable Resisters, Soldiers, Spies and Medics.” Copies of the book can be picked up from the City Museum or the West Chicago Library. The hour long discussion focuses around the topic, but attendees are not required to read the book in order to attend. Attendees are welcome to bring a sack lunch, the museum provides free drinks and treats. The program is free and all are welcome.
